Shipping, Damage & Claims Policy

By placing an order with BearNaturalOrganics, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this policy.


1. Order Handling & Transfer of Risk

All products are carefully inspected and securely packaged prior to shipment. Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, DHL, or other), risk of loss and title transfer to the customer to the fullest extent permitted by law.

BearNaturalOrganics is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage caused by third-party carriers, customs agencies, or international transit; however, we may assist with carrier claims when proper documentation is provided.


2. Damage Reporting Requirements

All damage claims must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of confirmed delivery.

To be eligible for consideration, the customer must provide:

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The outer shipping box (all sides)

    • Inner packaging materials

    • The shipping label

    • Each allegedly damaged item

  • A written count of damaged units

  • Retention of all original packaging (required for carrier inspection)

Failure to provide complete documentation within 48 hours will result in automatic denial of the claim.


3. Cosmetic vs. Functional Damage

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations may occur.

The following are not considered damage and do not qualify for refund, replacement, or credit:

  • Minor dents

  • Cosmetic imperfections

  • Small surface marks

  • Scuffs or variations that do not impact usability

Refunds or replacements are considered only when items are:

  • Structurally damaged

  • Rendered unusable

  • Clearly damaged due to shipping mishandling

BearNaturalOrganics retains sole discretion in determining eligibility.


4. International Orders — FINAL SALE (Strictly Enforced)

All international orders are FINAL SALE. This section is strictly enforced.

Due to the high cost, complexity, and risk associated with international fulfillment:

  • We do not accept international returns under normal circumstances

  • We do not provide prepaid international return labels

  • Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and import charges

Customs Fees Paid by BearNaturalOrganics

In rare cases where BearNaturalOrganics elects to cover customs, duties, or import charges on behalf of the customer, these costs are non-refundable under any circumstances and do not qualify as grounds for a refund or order cancellation, even if a dispute arises.


5. Returns Required for Refund or Replacement (Especially International Orders)

To be considered for any credit, or replacement:

  • The customer assumes full responsibility for returning all products

  • All items must be returned in their original condition

  • All original packaging must be included

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, particularly for international orders

No replacement product will be issued under any circumstances until:

  1. The original items have been returned, and

  2. The items have been received and physically inspected by BearNaturalOrganics

NO REFUND ON INTERNATION ORDERS ALL SALES ARE FINAL

This policy is especially enforced for international orders due to the frequency of fraud and the inability to recover losses across borders.


6. Carrier Claims Process

If BearNaturalOrganics elects to file a claim with the shipping carrier, the customer agrees to cooperate fully, including:

  • Providing additional documentation

  • Making packages available for inspection

  • Retaining all shipping materials

Claims processing may take several weeks. No refund, credit, or replacement will be issued until the investigation is complete.


7. Fraud Prevention & Abuse

BearNaturalOrganics reserves the right to deny any claim that appears fraudulent, exaggerated, inconsistent, or unsupported by evidence.

We reserve the right to:

  • Deny claims

  • Refuse service

  • Cancel orders

  • Block future purchases

Any abuse of this policy will result in permanent refusal of service.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BearNaturalOrganics’ liability is limited strictly to the original purchase price of the affected item(s). We are not liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Lost profits

  • Business interruption

  • Customs issues

  • Carrier delays

  • International transit complications
